Initial Adult Psychiatric Consultation
75 minutes
Meet Dr. Reynolds and discuss current concerns, symptoms, and treatment goals. There will be an in depth review of your general medical history, previous psychiatric history, and life circumstances. Patients should bring pertinent medical records or other relevant documentation for review to this appointment. Dr. Reynolds may recommend laboratory tests or referrals to other specialists. At the conclusion of the consultation, she will provide her initial diagnostic impression along with initial treatment recommendations that may include psychiatric medications (initiating, adjusting, or deprescribing), supplements, psychotherapy, and/or lifestyle changes. If the doctor and patient treatment goals and expectations are aligned, the doctor-patient treatment relationship can begin.

Initial Child/Adolescent Psychiatric Consultation
90 -105 minutes
Covers everything in the initial adult consultation but there will be interviews with the patient and parent(s)/guardian(s) together and separately. The evaluation can be scheduled in one day or can be split into two separate 45 - 60 minute appointments. Parent(s)/guardian(s) should bring copies of report cards and any relevant school paperwork or teacher notes.
-
Follow Up Appointment
25-30 minutes
Psychiatric follow-up visits will be conducted after an initial consultation with Dr. Reynolds is completed and a doctor-patient relationship has been established. The frequency of these visits will vary based on each patient's individual needs. Dr. Reynolds will review progress, recommend adjustments to medications or supplements if needed, and continue to collaborate with you/your child and the other members of your care team.
-
Extended Follow Up Appointment
45-50 minutes
Patients engaged in weekly psychotherapy appointments will be scheduled for extended psychiatric follow up appointments. The extended psychiatric follow-up can also be scheduled for medication management appointments with extended time for psychotherapy or time for additional assessment.
